This policy explains what personal information OLIVA (PVT) LTD collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. It applies to this website and to the customer service we provide by WhatsApp, phone and email.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need in order to sell and deliver a product:

• Your name, delivery address, phone number and, if you give one, email address.
• The details of your order and its delivery status.
• The messages you send us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, so that we can answer them.

We do not collect card or bank details, because we do not take online payments. All orders are cash on delivery.

How we use it

Your information is used to confirm your order, arrange delivery, keep you updated on its progress, answer your questions, and handle warranty claims or returns. We may send you messages about the status of an order you placed. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with the services that make an order work:

• Our courier partner receives your name, address and phone number so that your parcel can be delivered and payment collected.
• Messaging, email and hosting providers process your messages and order records on our behalf so we can operate the service.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Otherwise, we do not give your details to third parties.

Automated replies on WhatsApp

Messages sent to our WhatsApp number may receive an automated reply to help you faster. The content of your message may be processed by a third party language service in order to understand what you are asking and prepare a response. A member of our team can take over the conversation at any time, and you can ask to speak to a person.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal purposes. Conversations are retained so that we can refer back to what was agreed with you.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop messaging you. Write to info@oliva.lk and we will respond.
